TThis 250 mm (10") half round coarse cut rasp is made by a highly respected tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and is of exceptional quality. The blade is made from tool steel and then hardened to RC 45. The blades are stitched with a CNC machine which produces a uniform tooth pattern and height allowing for a steady removal rate and an even finish. This is considered a coarse cut rasp with 12 teeth per square centimeter. The handle is 5 3/4 inch long, 1 1/2 inches in diameter and has a brass ferrule. Handle is made hard and dense Hornbeam. Blade is 25 mm (1 inch) by 8 mm (5/16 inch) and 250 mm (10") long. Overall length is 395 mm (16 inches). This is a well-made rasp for a very reasonable price.
