The blades are stitched with a CNC machine which produces a uniform tooth pattern and height allowing for a steady removal rate and an even finish. This is considered a coarse cut rasp with 12 teeth per square centimeter. The handle is 5 3/4 inch long, 1 1/2 inches in diameter and has a brass ferrule. Handle is made hard and dense Hornbeam. Blade is 10 mm (3/8 inch) in diameter and 250 mm (10") long. Overall length is 395 mm (16 inches). This is a well-made rasp for a very reasonable price.
