The blades are stitched with a CNC machine which produces a uniform tooth pattern and height allowing for a steady removal rate and an even finish. This is considered a fine cut rasp with 22 teeth per square centimeter. The handle is 5 3/4 inch long, 1 1/2 inches in diameter and has a brass ferrule. Handle is made hard and dense Hornbeam. Blade is 20 mm (1 inch) wide by 6 mm (1/4 inch) thick and 200 mm (8") long. Overall length is 345 mm (14 inches) This is a well made rasp for a very reasonable price.
