The wall thimble is used for thru-the-wall chimney installations. It protects the wall as the chimney passes safely through to the outside and provides a finished look to the framed opening. The wall thimble can adjust to accommodate walls from 6" to 10" thick. For thicker walls a field fabricated extension tube can be installed. The wall thimble is used together with the tee, tee support and a short pipe section to penetrate the wall with you Shasta Vent double wall chimney. The wall thimble kit includes a finishing collar which is used to transition from Shasta Vent all fuel 6" chimney to 6" stove pipe.
