Superior longevity and workpiece protection! Lixie screw type replaceable polyurethane faces are included on all Lixie Dead Blow and Unihammers. They are available in six sizes, with a range of hardnesses in each size. This permits custom fitting a Lixie face to your individual requirements. Impervious to oils and most solvents, these solid polyurethane faces have high impact absorption, yet will not mar, peen or deform the struck surface. Their wear and performance characteristics are significantly superior to other commonly used materials such as lead, rawhide, rubber etc. Each of the hardnesses are color coded, for convenience.
