- Hand Threading Tap Size: Metric thread size: M22 x 1.5; total length: 110mm / 4.33"; thread length: 23mm / 0.91"; square end width: 12mm / 0.47"; accuracy class: H2. Right hand thread cutting, fast tapping with accuracy.
- Plug Style Tap: Plug tap produces deeper threads than taper taps and is used after the first tap to further improve thread form and size. The straight groove design of the hand tap can quickly remove chips downward, reduce operating resistance, and achieve efficient processing. The thread is clear and burr-free, which can achieve precise tapping.
- Wide Applications: Hand taps are mainly used with tap wrenches and are suitable for re-tapping damaged or stuck threads, or to create new threads. The threading tools are used for tapping through or shallow holes in mild steels, aluminum, iron, copper, hard plastic.
- M2 (6542) High Speed Steel: It has high hardness, good wear resistance, is not easy to deform, heat-resistant and has a long service life. It is characterized by only a matrix without any coating, and is suitable for general thread tapping.
- Tips: Add appropriate tapping oil for higher quality internal threads and more durable screw taps. Periodically reverse while tapping to break up chips and remove debris from the flutes
