We are a certified Shopify eCommerce store and verified by VISA and Mastercard. All of our credit card transactions are handled by Shopify 3rd Party services. We don't store your credit card information on our site at all, thus making it 100% safe and secure.

Yes, we source products from all over the world. We calculate how much it will cost to import the product and then offer it as an all inclusive price.
We offer a 100% guarantee we will deliver your order to you. If for some reason you don't receive your order, we will replace it at our cost or refund you fully.
We support modern web browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 8 and newer. However, we do not support some older web browsers such as Internet Explorer 7 and older. If you do encounter any browser related problems, please try downloading a newer version or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can explore the problem.
We do charge a delivery fee for items. The reason why we don't display it is due to it being calculated partially by the total weight of your order and then the rest is determined by it's destination in New Zealand.
Delivery takes an estimated 10-14 working days. During COVID we have experienced delays up to 20 working days. Delivery details will be provided in your order confirmation email.
We will ship anywhere in New Zealand, directly to your door or your place of work, whichever suits you. We also ship to rural areas, but this may increase the delivery fee. The only locations we will not ship to our private bags or PO boxes, where a person is not available to accept the order.
Unfortunately we cannot give you an exact delivery date. This is due to items often being held up in customs, a factor which we have no control over. COVID has caused additional complexities and delays. We do promise to get your item to you as soon as it has cleared customs.
We use FedEx and DHL for shipping products internationally. We use Courier Post for shipping products locally.
A working day is any day of the week from Monday to Friday, that is not a public holiday.
We guarantee that your order will arrive at your door in perfect condition and will be what you ordered. If your order arrives damaged or is not what you ordered you have a 48 hour window period to contact us to arrange a return. If you contact us after the 48 hour window period you will not be able to return the product unless it is an incorrect item that was delivered. Couriers will not entertain claims raised after 48 hours after delivery. Be advised, using or opening an item may void this returns policy.
Our prices are all inclusive of GST. They also include all duties and taxes that may arise from importing. The price you see on the website is the final price you will pay. There are no "hidden" costs.
Thrifty Fox does not store stock in New Zealand. All our items are imported directly from overseas. Our local offices here are concerned with logistics and administration. But any item we have listed on our site is currently reflecting as in stock at our overseas supplier and ready to be imported as soon as you've placed your order. It does occur rarely that simultaneous orders or the fact that a supplier has not updated their stock count causes an order to be canceled due to this, albeit very rarely.
Yes you can return your product if it is damaged or incorrect. We stand by our guarantee of happiness and will replace or refund your order if anything arrives incorrect or damaged.
We do not accept change-of-mind returns. If you need to cancel an order after it has been placed, a 35% restocking fee plus an international shipping fee back to the originating country will apply.
If a product can be customised, there will be options on the product page. If there are no options, then unfortunately it will not be possible.
