iDrain Soap Making Lye Kit – 1 lb Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) + 1 lb Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) Flakes | Caustic Soda & Caustic Potash for Bar and Liquid Soap, Biodiesel | Resealable Containers

iDrain Soap Making Lye Kit – 1 lb Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) + 1 lb Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) Flakes | Caustic Soda & Caustic Potash for Bar and Liquid Soap, Biodiesel | Resealable Containers

• BOTH LYES IN ONE KIT – Sodium hydroxide makes hard bar soap; potassium hydroxide makes liquid and cream soap. This kit ships one pound of each, so you can run cold process, hot process and liquid soap batches from a single order.
• LABORATORY AND INDUSTRIAL GRADE – 99.68% pure NaOH caustic soda flakes (CAS 1310-73-2) and 90% pure KOH caustic potash flakes (CAS 1310-58-3). Consistent flake sizing dissolves quickly and evenly, keeping your lye solution predictable batch to batch.
• RESEALABLE CONTAINERS – Both lyes arrive in durable screw-top HDPE containers made to keep moisture out, because caustic soda and caustic potash each pull water straight from the air. Stored sealed, the flakes stay free flowing instead of caking.
• NOT JUST SOAP – Beyond saponification, both flakes handle drain and grease trap maintenance, biodiesel transesterification, pH adjustment and heavy duty degreasing. One kit covers the soap bench and the workshop.
• REPACKED AND LABELLED BY HBG DISTRIBUTION INC. – A full GHS safety data sheet is published online. Corrosive: wear splash goggles and chemical resistant gloves, always add lye to water and never the reverse, and keep away from children and pets.
