The patented UT (Universal Technology) gear-driven mechanism speeds up handrail to newel post installation by eliminating the tedious steps of conventional techniques. The slipfix railbolt's open channel allows the housing to be dropped directly onto the shaft, eliminating the need for cumbersome nuts and washers.
• FAST INSTALLATION – Perfect for quickly connecting stairway post joints. Assemble the rail bolt shaft and gear housing in the rail, install the keyhole disc, insert the railbolt and push it downwards, then tighten with the included T30 Torx driver using a screwdriver or cordless drill. NOTE: Impact drivers should not be used when tightening the gear housing.
