Ever since introducing WireTrim® Edge Cutting Tape in 1996, Langeman Manufacturing has continued to develop and advance its filament-bearing tape invention to solve many related industrial applications. Previously, the use of a utility knife was the only accepted method for trimming through thick films and coatings. Langeman's edge cutting tapes provide an improved solution. The method and application is fast and easy. Simply position the tape with the filament-bearing edge along the precise desired line for cutting, apply the coating or film to the surface as usual, and then pull the filament out and through the coating or film. With the fine cutting filament at the very edge of the tape, ZipTrim now becomes an applicator's predetermined trim line, producing a perfect result every time. With ZipTrim, you no longer need to worry about damaging the surface below, because the fine filament within the tape will produce a clean, smooth cut-line with just an easy pull up and through the coating or film. ***ZipTrim is not recommended for most spray-on truck bedliner applications.
