The zephyr by dry and store is an electrical appliance for nightly use at home to store and care for all types of hearing instruments hearing aids, personal sound amplifiers, cochlear implant hardware, noise/tinnitus maskers, and in ear monitors. It's been proven that moisture and wax are the two most common causes for hearing instrument failures. Dry and store's patented technology combines the three essential elements needed for effective drying: Heat, moving air, and a desiccant that drives the relative humidity really low, and captures the moisture that is released from the instrument. The zephyr dries and instruments for 8 hours, then automatically shuts off continuing to store the instruments safely until they are need. The zephyr does not include the germicidal uv c lamp which is an integral part of the global ii unit, as it sanitizes the instruments and reduces itchy ears. Recommended for use with dry brik desiccant.
