The Maestro Series Rolling Ball (Rollerball) pens were produced in limited editions of 500 pieces per style. The overall design concept utilizes Art Nouveau style and follows natural colors and shapes of Mother of Pearl material. We used the finest Natural Mother of Pearl from New Zealand polished to perfection. The special MOP panels range from pure white to light gray, turquoise or blue and red overtones. Fittings are 18-karat gold plated. Due to the hand-crafting process involved in the production of each of our Natural Mother of Pearl pens, the weight of each pen will vary slightly. Mother of Pearl is natural material; therefore, some distinctions in the texture of these materials may occur. These distinctions and variations in texture are not defects, but rather natural attributes which add beauty and uniqueness to each of these handcrafted pens. The edges of the barrel of each pen are hand-finished and smoothly rounded on the outside. No two pens are exactly alike. Fine point, 0.5 0.6 mm, German-made Xezo ruby rolling ball Speed master refill provides smooth skip-free writing. Total writing length of refill exceeds 3280ft/1000m! Original rollerball refill is selectively interchangeable with a variety of commercially available rollerball pen refills like Montblanc.
