- SPECIFICALLY FOR SOSS 218 HINGE: Cuts the exact 1-1/8" wide x 4-5/8" long shallow mortise and matching deep mortise required by the SOSS 218 invisible hinge.
- ONE-POSITION ROUTING: Clamp once and rout both depths without moving the jig, built-in retractable stops control the depth of each cut automatically.
- REQUIRES 5032K BUSHING & 15410 BIT: Use with Woodhaven 5032K (3/4" OD bushing) and Woodhaven 15410 (1/2" spiral upcut, 2" cut length), both sold separately. Third-party bushing nose must not exceed 3/8" length.
- BUILT-IN SOSS SETBACK: Hinge setback machined to SOSS 218 manufacturer specifications for correct, repeatable hinge installation without additional measuring.

Our SOSS Hinge Jigs are the fastest, easiest and most accurate way to rout the two-step mortises required for these unique hinges. Made of 1/2" phenolic for heavy duty use, they measure 5-5/8" x 7-3/4" for maximum router support. Includes a 12" Double Track for mounting the jig and clamping to your work. Clamps not included.
Optional 4512 Flip Stop mounts on an optional 4024 24" Double Track (recommended length) for quicker part indexing. Allows setting the stop up to 6" from the hinge mortise, with a spacer required for short distances. We recommend two Flip Stops, one for each side of the jig. Optional longer Double Tracks (up to 95" - 4096) available to mount multiple SOSS Hinge Jigs and Flip Stops.
Optional 6507 or 6509 Self-Centering Drill centers itself in the SOSS 218 hinge screw mounting hole for a perfectly centered pilot hole.
