Whiteside Router Bits SA2100 O-Flute Straight Bit with Solid Carbide 1/4-Inch Cutting Diameter and 1-Inch Cutting Length
- TOOL SPECS: Solid carbide, o-flute straight bit with 1/4" cutting diameter, 1/4" shank, 1" cutting length, and 3-1/2" overall length for use in routers with a 1/4" collet.
- O-FLUTE: The oval shaped flute allows for rapid chip removal away from the cutting edge, preventing soft materials from sticking or gumming up the cutting edge.
- STRAIGHT FLUTE: The straight edge provides a clean, crisp cut on materials prone to chipout or thin materials that tend to lift off the table when using a spiral design.
- SINGLE FLUTE: A single, wider flute creates more space for chips to escape so that soft, gummy materials are even less likely to stick to the cutting edge.
- MATERIALS: Performs best in plastic and aluminums, especially in soft materials where melting is a concern. Also performs well in solid woods.
