• Conductor Range (1/0-14 AWG): Engineered for stranded copper (Cu) or aluminum (Al) conductors from 1/0 down to 14 AWG. This dual-rated QMS-D1/0-1 connector is a functional component for secondary electrical distribution and service entrance applications.
• Pre-Loaded Oxide Inhibitor: Each entry port contains a pre-filled oxide inhibiting compound. This technical feature manages the contact requirements of aluminum-to-copper or aluminum-to-aluminum joints in varied environmental conditions.
• Insulation Specifications: Encased in a black plastisol coating designed for 600V. The housing is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 90°C (194°F) and maintains its physical properties in cold environments down to -45°C (-49°F).
• Defined Torque Requirements: To support the mechanical stability of the connection, follow the specified torque profiles: 35 in-lbs (14-10 AWG), 75 in-lbs (8 AWG), 110 in-lbs (6-4 AWG), 150 in-lbs (3-1 AWG), and 180 in-lbs for 1/0 AWG.
