- Triangular Scraper Blade - Used with a pulling stroke, the V-shaped blade cuts grooves and sharp lines into deadwood for detailed shari and jin texture.
- Jin and Shari Carving - Create natural-looking deadwood on bonsai; also useful for wood carving, engraving and grafting. Pull the blade toward you along the grain for clean, controlled scraping.
- Shirogami Steel - Made from Shirogami (white paper) tool steel, a pure Japanese carbon steel prized for a keen, easily resharpened edge. Wipe dry and oil lightly after use to prevent rust.
- Made in Niigata, Japan - Forged by local artisans in Niigata, a region known for centuries for the skill of its blacksmiths and tool makers.
