- Made in Sanjo, Japan - Handcrafted by local artisans in Sanjo, Niigata, a town known since the 17th century for the skill of its blacksmiths and tool makers.
- Hand Forged S55C Carbon Steel - The heated steel is hammered and shaped by hand with the same methods once used for Japanese swords, for strong jaws and a lasting edge.
- Size and Specs - 210 x 50 x 14 mm (8.3 x 2 x 0.55 in), 14 mm (0.55 in) blades, 210 g (7.4 oz), S55C carbon steel, black coated.
- Comfortable Leverage - Long handles give leverage for hard wood with less hand strain, while the clean cut keeps scarring to a minimum.
