- Long-Handle Ashinaga Scissors - Long shanks and short blades for pruning and delicate bonsai work, cutting branches up to 6 mm (1/4 in); also great as florist scissors.
- Made in Sanjo by 3rd-Generation Artisans - Handcrafted in Sanjo, Niigata, a town known since the 17th century for the skill of its blacksmiths and tool makers.
- Yasugi Specialty Stainless Steel - Made from SLD Yasugi steel produced only in Japan (Proterial, Shimane): impurities that dull an edge are removed, giving a fine, long-lasting cutting edge that is easy to resharpen.
- Size and Specs - 200 x 85 x 15 mm (7.9 x 3.3 x 0.6 in), 54 mm (2.1 in) blades, 148 g (5.2 oz), SLD alloy tool steel (SLD is a registered trademark of Proterial, Ltd.).
- Clean Cuts, Less Scarring - Sharp, sturdy blades sever wood fibers cleanly instead of crushing them, so cuts close faster and leave less scarring.
