• BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Watts Lead-Free Brass Anti-Siphon Vacuum Breaker Backflow Preventer prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply. It is used to protect against health hazard and non-hazard back-siphonage of toxic or non-toxic liquids and meets the specifications of the USC FCCCHR Manual.
• COMMERCIAL GRADE PERFORMANCE: This 1/2" backflow preventer is equipped with everything needed to efficiently prevent the backflow of water: female NPT inlet and outlet end connections, a chemical-resistant silicone seat disc, chrome hood, and an atmospheric vent to prevent spilling. It also has a full-sized orifice to assure pipe size capacity and maximum flow.
• DURABLE DESIGN: Designed for both hot and cold water, this backflow preventer is constructed with a highly durable lead-free brass body in order to ensure long-lasting service. Material prevents wear and tear on part and reduces erosion.
