• AIR VENT VALVE: The Watts FV-4 Series automatic air vent valve is used in commercial and residential hydronic heating applications to provide automatic air venting for hot or cold water distribution systems, allowing for optimal temperature balance.
• HIGH TEMP RATING: Our automatic air vent valve is ideal for use with glycol systems or for use as an anti-vacuum device. It can also be installed to permit the separation and dispersal of air while fluid is circulating within the system.
• THERMAL EXPANSION PROTECTION: Features a 1/8" bottom tap as well as a 1/8" NPT male threaded inlet. Pressure rated to 150 PSI (10 bar) at the maximum temperature of 240 F (116 C). It can be disassembled for thorough inspection and cleaning.
• DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: This valve features a brass body, providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance, making it deal ideal for long-term use in a variety of cooling applications. It can handle a maximum pressure of 100 psi and can operate efficiently at temperatures up to 140 degrees F.
