Remember Me Baby: Cameo Parkway Vocal Groups 1

There are collectors...and then there are doo wop collectors, which is why we have dedicated our first Cameo Parkway compilation to the fantastic vocal groups who recorded for the label. All of these (except the Rays track and the two Roommates tracks, which we HAD to include) are from the original tapes, and only one track (the Lydells There Goes the Boy , which again we felt was a must) has ever been out on CD at retail before. Ed Osborne chips in with notes, and helped us on the track selection. Perhaps tops among the finds are unreleased tracks from the Dovells ( Short on Bread ) and Tymes ( Did You Ever Get My Letter? ); then come Gee but I m Lonesome Lee Andrews; Raining Teardrops Anglos (a.k.a. Angelos); Remember Me Baby Billy & the Essentials; I Laughed So Hard I Cried Defenders; Down by the Ocean Exceptions; To Cry Expressions; You Must Be an Angel Gainors; Sandra Baby Gleems (a.k.a. Jaynells); Turn Out the Lights Pookie Hudson & the Spaniels; Tears in My Heart Impacs; Triangle Rays; Flame of Love ; I Don t Want Your Love ; Let It Please Be You Rick & the Masters; A Sunday Kind of Love ; A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening Roommates; The Mountains Sequins; Everyone but You ; Three Coins in a Fountain Skyliners; Golden Rings ; When You Dance Turbans, and the Lydells track. 24 tracks...on your marks, doo wop fans!
