- IMPORTANT NOTE ON COMPATIBILITY: Before purchasing, please double check the depth of your vent slats. This mount is only compatible with flat faced vents with a depth up to 21mm (approximately the diameter of a US penny) and no less than 14 mm. If your vent slats are deeper or shallower than these figures, unfortunately the Magno Mount is not compatible with your car. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Vent Mounted: Attaches to most vents with a unique hook and clamp design that is simple to set up or remove, is very secure, and won't cause damage to your car. Inferior mounts use a friction clip on the vent slots (insecure), adhesive on the dash (not removable and can damage your car), or a suction cup (not secure, difficult to use, and not optimally placed).
Extension Arm: The 360 degree articulating arm allows the magnet to be placed 3.5 inches away from the vent in any direction. This allows the freedom to find the optimal spot to position your device for safe viewing and driving, while also keeping your phone away from the hot or cold air coming out of the vent (overheating or cooling your device is not good for it).
How does the phone attach to the mount? Insert one of the ultra-thin metal plates between your phone and it's case, or simply attach it to the back of your phone or case with the included adhesive. Once the plate is installed, all you have to do is place the phone onto the mount head, and it will snap securely into place. It's strong enough to hold your phone securely while driving, but the phone can still easily be removed by hand when needed (with one hand). It couldn't be simpler to use - no fuddling with clamps, brackets, or adhesives.
Extra Strength Magnets: We've used specially requested extra strong N42 magnets in the mount head that will provide better holding power than most other magnet mounts out there.
