These 1/2" x 1/2" NPT male pipe fittings are made of brass, Which is considered more durable for heavy-duty use. Threads used on these nipples are NPT.
A hose barb fitting connects hose to pipes, typically has a male-threaded end which mates with female threads. The other end of the fitting is a barbed tube, which is inserted into a hose. You could add an adjustable hose clamp to keep the hose from slipping off the barbed tube.
Tips:
1. For better sealing, we suggest that all fittings must be used with teflon tape.
2. The product packaging method is bagged Please confirm before buying.
3. These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.
