• Grips layer after layer: The sanded tooth holds repeated layers of soft pastel, oil pastel, charcoal, and colored pencil, so color builds rich and vivid without filling in or losing bite.
• No fixative needed between layers: The abrasive surface locks pigment in place, letting you work and rework color without spraying fixative as you go, for cleaner and truer results.
• Takes a wet underpainting: Accepts water, alcohol, and solvent washes without buckling or losing tooth, so you can block in an underpainting before moving to dry pastel or pencil.
• Acid-free and archival: The pH-neutral sheet resists yellowing over time, protecting finished pastel, charcoal, and mixed media work for years of display or storage.
• Consistent professional surface: Even, end-to-end grit coverage gives predictable results across the whole sheet, from bold underpainting to fine detail work.
