Turpitude (Thornhorn Southern Gothic)

Who goes there, bleeding in the snow?

In this otherworldly and horrific post-Civil War tale, a Buffalo Soldier leads a rough band of black men (and one dissipated German) in icy pursuit of a child killer. But, will a mouthless, mythic joker thwart the posse before their darkest prey is captured for blood money?

Beware. This is a disturbing one-of-a-kind fable as deep as the hills where their torment and folly unfold.

A RiddleTop Southern Gothic short story from the bestselling author of The Kestrel Waters and Wicked Temper.
