Trumpet Straight Mute for Band, Orchestra, & Jazz - Aluminum | Mutec Mutes

Trumpet Straight Mute for Band, Orchestra, & Jazz - Aluminum | Mutec Mutes

• ROUND-BOTTOM DESIGN FOR FULL PROJECTION: The round bottom seats securely in the bell and projects a full, clear sound across the entire performance space. Section leaders, principal chairs, and soloists get the presence they need without pushing the air or losing intonation control.
• EVEN, FULL SOUND ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGISTER: Plays comfortably from low F sharp past high C with terrific intonation, articulation, and fullness of sound. No pinched highs, no muddy lows, no register breaks. Balanced response from pianissimo to fortissimo.
• LIGHTWEIGHT AND FREE-BLOWING: Lightweight aluminum body provides minimal resistance so the player can drive the sound with breath and embouchure rather than fighting the mute. Comfortable for long rehearsals, back-to-back gigs, and demanding orchestral passages.
• FOR ORCHESTRA, BIG BAND, PIT, STUDIO, AND SOLO WORK: The clear projection and full sound cut through large ensembles while retaining warmth for intimate solo settings. Used by orchestral players, big band section trumpets, Broadway pit musicians, and studio session players.
• HANDCRAFTED ALUMINUM, MADE IN THE USA BY MUTEC: Spun aluminum body resists dents and tarnish. Precision-cut natural cork provides a secure seal in the bell without slipping. Manufactured in Skokie, Illinois by the Mutec Mutes team with decades of brass-mute manufacturing experience.
