Trails to Explore (A Beka Book Reading Program 4-4)

The stories in this 4th Grade Level Reader have been selected from the readers of America's past and have been edited, modernized, and classroom-tested for student appeal and readability. This reader will introduce to children not only what is excellent in itself, but what their parents and grandparents have read before them - stories so good that they will never become old and stories that impart moral values. Many values are taught throughout the book. Among them are honesty, integrity, courage, faith, kindness, forgiveness, industry, and patriotism.
