It uses a precision clamp that secures the fender to the lower legs with a special safety feature, which allows it to disengage if a large obstruction enters the wheel, preventing front wheel lock up. Lightweight, impact-resistant plastic provides durability without weighing the front end down, and the underside is polished to prevent buildup and aid in cleaning.
