The 2011 recording by Divna and the Melodi Choir is a selection of hymns from the festal cycle of the Nativity. In contrast to the hymns she performed with L. Angelopoulos and the Greek Byzantine Choir on The Glory of Byzantium, this recording has the pure and intimate feeling of a small choir--which it is. In addition to the festal hymns are two carols.
