The Dead Walk is the band's most composed, confident effort yet, filled a devastating one-two punch of swift riffs and chest-caving breaks. Thanks to eerie artwork from Paul Romano (Trivium, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Mastodon) and the return of veteran producer Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage, All That Remains), The Acacia Strain has stripped away any cliché trappings that would mistakenly label this band for anything other than what it is.
