This 11" drywall texture shag stipple brush is ready to use from the package. it is an excellent choice for creating rosebud drywall textures with larger diameter. the shag drywall texture brush is made of horse hair/poly blend filaments and is pre-formed (flattened) and geometrically designed to create starburst-like drywall textures, also popularly referred to as rosebud pattern. the base is a non-rot, non-chip plastic block with female 3/4" coarse threads for attaching an extension pole. all brushes have step-by-step instructions on the back of the packaging. this brush is used for leaving impressions in the compound - not to apply compound to walls or ceilings.
