Tandy Leather Eco-Flo Super Shene 4 oz. High Gloss Acrylic Leather Finish

HIGH GLOSS FINISH - Add an acrylic top finish to natural veg-tanned tooling leather after dyeing, painting, oiling, or tooling, giving wallets, belts, bags, straps, and projects a brighter look.
WATER-BASED GLOSS COAT - This water-based acrylic finish is made to stay flexible and help complete dyed, stained, painted, or tooled leather projects with a clean, high-gloss surface and simple bench use.
SPONGE APPLICATION - Shake well, start with clean dry leather, and apply a light, even coat with a slightly damp sponge in circular motions so the finish reaches cuts, impressions, and edges.
THIN COAT CONTROL - Build the finish with two light coats, letting the first coat dry completely before the next, then buff with a soft cloth or sheep wool when a brighter high-gloss sheen is wanted.
STAIN BLOCKING OPTION - Apply at least two coats to selected areas and let them dry before staining or antiquing, using a sponge or artist brush to help keep chosen details visible after finish work.

Eco-Flo Super Shene is a water based, low V.O.C., durable, water repellent, flexible, acrylic based high gloss top finish for natural veg-tanned tooling leather. Great for use over any Eco-Flo dye or stain product. May be used to resist or block the effects of acrylic stains or antiques for highlighting areas. Directions for use: Shake well before each use. Leather should be clean and dry. Apply a light even coat of Super Shene with a slightly damp sponge. Work in a circular motion, making sure finish gets into all cuts and impressions. Allow first coat to dry completely, and then apply a second light coat. After second coat has dried, buff to a high gloss with a clean soft cloth or piece of sheep wool. Clean applicators immediately after use with soap and water. Resist or Blocking Technique: To use as a resist or block for stains and antiques, apply at least 2 coats of Super Shene to areas with a sponge (large areas) or artist brush (small areas). Allow to dry completely before staining or antiquing. Super Shene will resist or block effects of stain and antique allowing the natural leather color or dye color to show through while highlighting all cuts and impressions
