Tahya Ceremonial Systrum - Red Cedar

A robust instrument that enhances your music making, the Tahya Ceremonial Systrum is applicable to professional, collegiate and community percussion ensembles.  It stands 16-inches high and is handcrafted from red cedar with nickel silver jingles strung on rods deliberately snake-shaped in keeping with its historical aspects.

An objet d'art, it also has artistic merit and can be proudly displayed in your home, classroom, studio, or the workplace for decorative purpose.

Inspired by percussion instruments used in Ancient Egyptian culture, the Tahya Ceremonial Systrum is designed to be used in a variety of ways adding a wonderful new texture to chanting, dancing and/or drumming experiences.
