Includes battery, calibration disks, instructions and leather belt case This model works with Non-Ferrous material such as Aluminum, as well as ferrous/steel/iron base metals. It does not work with plastics though.
These are typically used by auto detailers to check thickness of paint prior to sanding/buffing etc, and by car dealers to check the relative thickness of the paint from panel to panel, thus indicating if the vehicle has been repainted at any time.
