Superpunch Water Soluble Topping for Embroidery, Clear, 9 in x 25 yd
- MADE IN USA: Clear water soluble film that lies on top of the fabric so the stitches sit above the pile instead of sinking down into it.
- FOR TOWELS, FLEECE AND KNITS: Terry loops, minky, sweater knits, corduroy and velvet all swallow stitching. This holds the design up on the surface where it belongs.
- KEEPS SMALL LETTERING READABLE: Satin stitches and text under a quarter inch stay crisp on textured fabric instead of closing up and disappearing into the nap.
- NOT A BACKING: This goes on top of the fabric. Use a cutaway or tearaway underneath as well. One stops the design sinking, the other stops the fabric moving.
- SIZE AND REMOVAL: 9 in x 25 yd, Clear film. Tear off the bulk once the design is finished, then rinse or dab the rest away with water.
This water soluble stabilizer is used on top of a high profile fabric to hold down its nap, or pile. Very popular on towels and polar On sweaters, fleece, towels and other soft knits, it stops the stitches from sinking into the pile and getting lost. Water soluble is removed from the completed embroidery design using a spray bottle of water.
