• KEEPS NONBEARING WALLS ALIGNED: Provides alignment control between a roof truss and nonbearing interior partition walls, keeping the wall laterally aligned to the truss as loads are applied.
• 1-1/2 IN. VERTICAL SLOT: Permits the truss bottom chord to move vertically as the truss deflects under load, so the wall stays aligned without restraining normal truss movement.
• 18-GAUGE GALVANIZED STEEL: Stamped bent-steel connector made from 18-gauge (43 mil, 1.1 mm) steel with a galvanized G90 finish; each clip measures 1-1/4 in. W x 1-7/8 in. D x 2-3/4 in. H.
• SIMPLE 3-NAIL INSTALLATION: Fastens with (2) 0.131 in. x 2-1/2 in. nails in the base plus (1) 0.131 in. x 2-1/2 in. nail placed in the middle of the slot; install clips on both sides of the truss, staggered to avoid nail interference, to achieve rated F1 loads in both directions.
• CONTRACTOR 200-PACK: 200 clips per pack for full framing jobs; often installed with a DS drywall stop to help prevent fasteners from tearing through ceiling drywall as the truss moves; not intended for floor applications.
