The barbell is 316L Surgical Stainless Steel, 16 gauge and in 1/4 inch (6mm) long. Barbell has one 1/8 inch (3mm) diameter, externally threaded end ball. Tighten these balls often during use. End balls will loosen with wear and must be tightened often to avoid loss. We suggest using latex gloves to hold the jewelry while tightening the balls. This stops the jewelry from spinning and allows the ball to be tightened more securely. Silver Color base metal Swirl design is 9/16 inch (14mm) long X 3/16 inch (5mm) wide.
