• The Signaworks Loading Dock Lights Kit includes Two Signaworks 4" Diameter Stop-Go Dock LED Red/Green Lights, a 12"x18" "Depart On Green Only" Aluminum Sign, and a 9"x12" "Enter On Green Only" Vinyl Sign. It provides immediate and recognizable direction to drivers and loading dock staff to reducing the risk of confusion and injury.
• One light includes a 3 way switch for Red/Green/Off operation and the second light does not have a switch. The kit can be wired for the internal light turn on with a switch that alternates both lights, for the forklift operator inside to communicate to the truck driver when it is safe to depart.
• Ultra Bright LEDs, Aluminum Housing, Mounting Brackets, Waterproof Housing. Moisture and dust tight multi-layer seal protecting lenses from the elements. The exterior sign is made from a heavy-gauge aluminum and is UV protected for outdoor use.
• When a truck is parked securely in the loading dock, the (inside) light is turned green. This indicates to the forklift driver that it is safe to enter the trailer. When the green light is on inside the building, the outside light is red, indicating that the truck should not move. Once the truck is loaded or unloaded, the inside light is turned to red. This tells the forklift driver to stay away from the truck. Simultaneously, the outside light is turned green, indicating it is now safe for the truck to pull away.
• Wiring Instructions are included to show how to wire the lights to have the inside and outside lights to show opposing colors (red/green). (Wiring is not included, so Buyer must wire power and controls to the lights).
