- FAST AND EASY INSTALL: SharkBite Max push-to-connect brass push slip tee fittings are ideal for adding a new line into an existing plumbing system. The slip end is only compatible with copper or CPVC while the non-slip end is compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE SDR-9. No need for soldering, glue, or additional tools; pipe connector can be installed in wet lines
- NO PEX TUBE LINER: With no PEX pipe tube liner required, SharkBite Max plumbing fittings eliminate flow restriction when used on Copper/CPVC
- STRONG AND DURABLE: The reinforced stainless steel collar locks in the cartridge and provides additional strength for 50 percent reduction in insertion force
- LEAD FREE: Flex tee is made of high-quality forged DZR brass with reinforced stainless steel that is lead free; all SharkBite pipe fittings meet the same standards for commercial and residential plumbing applications
- CERTIFIED: Pushfit slip tee couplers are rated to 200 degrees F and 250 PSI with 2K maximum burst
