Dropping in a whole new pickup system can be daunting, but we make it easy to get world-class tone in one easy package. This pickup gives you extended frequency range and that Music Man midrange in one motion. You get the power and punch of our modern ceramic pickup, and the surgical precision of our Music Man preamp and EQ. This pickup and preamp combination will give your bass a ton of versatility and improve the overall feel and responsiveness of your instrument.
These pickups may fit into OLP instruments as well but check the dimensions of our pickups (on this site) against the size of your OLPs pickup slot to be sure. NOTE: not for use with Music Man basses that have a 3-way blade switch.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, our ceramic Music Man replacement pickups use two large ceramic bar magnets, Forbon flatwork, 4-conductor lead-wire, and are vacuum wax potted for squeal free operation.
