Once installed on an electric gate, the maglock keeps the gate securely closed with 1,300 pounds (591 kg) of holding force, until released through your hardwired security system. The lock features a stainless-steel finish with water and vandal resistance for long-term outdoor use. The maglock can be used with outdoor sliding and swinging electric gates. The steel armature plate mounts on your gate, while the maglock installs on the gate post. When the maglock is powered, the steel plate is attracted to the electromagnet, holding the gate closed. This maglock comes with a mounting bracket that can be welded or bolted directly to the gate. The bracket is zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. The lock operates on 12 or 24 VDC power (selectable), and is pre-wired for 12VDC operation. FEATURES: Fail-safe operation (unlocks if power is removed). Built-in MOV surge protection.
