Designed for the Olympus and Panasonic Micro 4/3 (MFT) Mount mirror less Digital Cameras is the Samyang 7.5mm T3.8 UMC Cine Fisheye lens. Compact and light in weight, it features a frame filling 180º view, a 35mm focal length equivalency of 15mm and focuses down to 3.5". Optical construction features 9 lenses in 7 groups including a Aspherical (ASP) glass element and a Low Dispersion (ED) glass element to deliver high image quality and contrast from image center to corner, even at full open aperture. Engineered for shooting HD video, it offers features that differentiate it from "photo lenses," which, of course, can also serve to shoot HDSLR video. However, Samyang Cine lenses have a clickless aperture ring, which is not only silent but enables smooth transitions between stops and the ability to shoot between those stops. Furthermore, it relates aperture in T-stops (Transmission-stops) which is a more accurate measurement of the light entering the lens that actually makes its way to the image sensor and is a more consistent measurement from lens to lens.
