SMC KQ Series Brass Push-to-Connect Tube Fitting, Hexagon Socket Head Connector with Sealant, 1/4" Tube OD x 1/8" NPT Male

The SMC KQ series Brass hexagon socket head connector fitting with sealant is made of and has tube and NPT male connectors. This hex socket head fitting with sealant has a recessed area for accepting pipe and a hexagonal head for an increased bearing surface when adjusting the fitting with a wrench. It is a push-to-connect fitting that connects to pipes or tubing on one end and has a National Pipe Taper (NPT) male connector on the other. It is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel. The working pressure for this fitting is up to 145 pounds per square inch (psi), and its operating temperature ranges from -5 to 60 degrees C.
