Rope King TP-12400Y 1/2 inch x 400 feet Twisted Poly Rope Yellow - Floats Farm Ranch Marine Tow Line
Product Description
Rope King TP-12400Y 1/2 inch x 400 feet Twisted Poly Rope Yellow - Floats Farm Ranch Marine Tow Line
- FLOATS IN WATER — MARINE READY: 100% polypropylene construction means this rope floats, making it the right choice for water ski tow lines, dock perimeters, crab trap lines, swim area markers, and all floating-line marine applications.
- FARM & RANCH WORKHORSE: Rot-proof polypropylene handles livestock operations, fence repairs, tarp tie-downs, hay bale securing, and general farm utility through every season without degrading.
- HIGH VISIBILITY YELLOW: Bright yellow ensures safety and easy location across fields, on water, and on job sites — critical for tow lines, marine perimeter ropes, and farm operations where rope must be spotted instantly.
- UV & WEATHER RESISTANT: Polypropylene resists moisture, UV degradation, oil, and gasoline — performs in extreme weather whether working the farm, the dock, or the job site.
- 400-FOOT BULK SPOOL: A full 400-foot reel gives farmers, ranchers, and contractors more rope for more jobs. Twisted construction is stronger than braided rope of the same diameter.
The Rope King TP-12400Y twisted poly rope measures 1/2" in diameter by 400' long, is yellow in color, and is suitable for use in camping, pools, and ladder placement. Twisted poly (polypropylene) rope floats and is resistant to mildew, oil, and gas. The twisted construction is stronger than braided rope of the same size.
Fibrous ropes used for pulling and lifting are made of natural and/or synthetic fiber strands. A combination of characteristics, including material, construction, diameter, length, and breaking strength, give each rope its performance capability. Fibrous rope materials are selected for properties such as strength, flotation, elasticity, and resistance to abrasion, ultraviolet light, and chemical compounds. Â Twisted rope, also called laid rope, consists of two, three, or four strands given a right-hand or left-hand twist. Â The parallel organization of the strands makes twisted rope generally stronger than braided rope of the same size, but also prone to abrasion wear. The breaking strength for fibrous rope is the strength at which new rope will fail under a stationary load. Breaking strength is not considered safe working load (SWL) limit.
Rope King USA manufactures a variety of ropes for industrial, mechanical, marine, and household purposes. The company, founded in 2008, is headquartered in Solon, OH.
