• Vacuum Sealing Steps: 1. Clean the jar, rim, and sealing ring, then wipe dry — no water or food residue. 2. Add ingredients, leaving 2–3 cm / 0.8–1.2 in of headspace at the top. 3. Screw the lid on tightly. 4. Repeatedly press the large vacuum button until it sinks completely and cannot be pressed further. 5. Check: try lifting the lid — if it cannot be lifted at all, the vacuum is successful
