Please note there are two kinds for self-sealing can taps, R134A and R1234YF can tap, R1234YF self-sealing can tap with left hand threaded, R134A self-sealing can tap with right hand threaded. Please check your can before purchase.

This can tap can only be use on self-sealing R1234YF Refrigerant cans with 1/2'' ACME left hand thread, can't be used for R134A self-sealing cans with right hand thread, either cannot be used on puncture style cans.
