DURABLE AND WATERPROOF PROTECTION: Made of 2 layers of 3 mil thick clear polyester plastic (including heat activated adhesive) providing 6 mil total thickness encapsulating and waterproofing your sheet which becomes clear when heat and even pressure is applied. (laminator recommended)

TIPS: Industry standard specification for 3 mil laminating pouches is 3 mils on each flap for a total of 6 mils added to your paper sheet. Also, 1 mil equals 1/1000th of an inch (or 25 microns metric). The industry calls these laminating pouches when they are sealed on only one edge instead of three. They should be called laminating folders.
