- A filbert is a brush shaped like an oval at the tip and is tapered to a chisel edge. The shape of a filbert makes it useful for basecoating round or curved areas, applying washes and painting flowers.
Bristle Brushes of select quality, naturally curved interlocked hairs and flagged tips for increased color carrying capacity and control. Set deep in extra long ferrules with each bristle curved inwards, producing a completely controlled, sensitive stroke.
