- Mesh is 4 ft tall when installed and suspended 1 ft above the soil. 4 conductive horizontal strands and unique plastic verticals are designed to break if a horse challenges the fence.
- Ideal for temporary corrals or trailer paddocks at weekend shows or trail rides. Also ideal for subdivision and semi-permanent boundary fences for rotational grazing.
- FENCE MUST BE PROPERLY ENERGIZED TO BE EFFECTIVE. Energizer is not included. Warning! Do NOT use continuous current energizers with electric netting.
A ready-to-install electrifiable 100 ft mesh fence that takes only minutes to erect. Line posts are already built in. Posts are 3/4 in. diameter with a steel double-spiked foot. Posts are spaced every 12.5 ft. The built-in posts are adequate for line or curves, but extra support posts, such as 48" FibreTuff posts, may be required at ends and corners.(See Item 208055 - 48" FibreTuff Posts on Amazon) Mesh is 4 ft tall when installed it's suspended 1 ft. above the soil. The 4 conductive strands are 3/16" diameter. The unique plastic verticals (every 2 ft) are designed to break if a horse challenges the fence. Most QuikFences need an energizer with .15 to 1.5 joules of output. Also stops cattle, camelids and most deer. Horse QuikFence used along with a Premier IntelliShock PRS-I25 solar energizer (Item 1141201 on Amazon) make an easy and ideal kit for a temporary corral or trailer paddock for weekend shows and trail rides. Horse QuikFence is also ideal for subdivision and semi-permanent boundary fences for rotational grazing. Acceptable levels of electric conductivity on the fence can be difficult when low soil moisture conditions are present. If dry soil conditions occur frequently, a Pos/Neg (P/N) version of netting fence is strongly advised. FENCE MUST BE PROPERLY ENERGIZED TO BE EFFECTIVE. Energizer is not included. Recommend approximately .25 joule of energizer per roll of fence. Use only low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizers. Warning! Do NOT use continuous current energizers with electric netting. (Fi-Shock brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric nettng.) For optimum results, we recommend using a Premier Solar or AC/DC energizer that fits your specific needs. Premier's energizers are found on Amazon.
