• MEDIA CONVERTER AND PoE INJECTOR IN ONE DEVICE - This is PSE equipment: it sources power, it does not consume it. Up to 30 W to IEEE 802.3af (15.4 W) and 802.3at PoE+ (30 W) powered devices, so no separate PoE injector or PoE switch is needed at the fiber end.
• SINGLE MODE, 1310 NM, 20 KM / 12.43 MILES - 1000BASE-LX over LC duplex single-mode fiber. This is the single-mode 1310 nm variant - it will not link to a multimode 850 nm converter, and it is not an SC or ST unit.
• FIBER TO PoE OVER A 20 KM RUN - Copper Ethernet stops at 100 m and carries no power beyond that. This delivers a gigabit link and a full 30 W PoE budget at the far end of a single-mode run, so the remote device needs fiber and nothing else.
• ONE 10/100/1000 AUTOSENSING RJ45 PORT, FOUR REAR DIP SWITCHES - Auto-negotiation on the copper side, with a four-position DIP block on the rear panel to force the port to 10M for legacy equipment that will not negotiate. Transparent to VLAN-tagged packets, full and half duplex.
• LFP AND JUMBO FRAMES ENABLED BY DEFAULT - Link Loss Propagation carries a fiber-side failure through to the copper port so the upstream switch sees the link drop instead of a silent black hole. Jumbo Ethernet frames pass without configuration.
• PLUG AND PLAY, EVERYTHING IN THE BOX - Converter, external AC-DC supply (48 VDC 1.25 A output), rubber feet and manual. Converter input range 47-57 VDC. No management interface, nothing to configure. 94 x 70 x 26 mm (3.70 x 2.76 x 1.02 in).
• 1 GIGABIT, 1 PoE PORT - This is the single-port model. A two-port version of the same converter is listed separately if you need to power two devices from one fiber run. Operating temperature 0 to 60 C, relative humidity up to 95% non-condensing.
